For custom tailored items (for humans!) we create a custom fit based on your answers to some simple sizing questions. this is a finely tuned algorithm we have created using our 20+ years experience in the industry. It works! It's not bespoke but made to measure and creates an excellent custom fit much better than off the rack. All tailored items are individually cut and made for you, if you would like something specific please message us. We can generally accommodate every request. It's rare that the answer is a no!

For dog clothing - all our custom made to your dog's measurements. Please do not send us your dog's breed and weight. Unfortunately we do not have the capacity to determine your dog's measurements based on these, you will have to measure your dog. It is only 3 measurements and you can find a diagram and explanation in every dog coat listing.

For vintage items - please check each item description for detailed measurements of the garment. If it is modeled by a man there are 2 of us that do it of similar size (1. 5ft8, chest 41, 2. 5ft7 chest 40) and both usually wear size medium. All vintage items are authentic and true vintage; thus we usually only have the one listed, in the size listed. Please, please (!) check it against something similar in your closet before purchasing to save disappointment. If you want a different size to the one listed check the vintage sections of our store, you may be in luck and we happen to have the same style in another size. If not message us, we have regular stock coming in and can let you know if we are expecting that may work for you.

We are based in the UK but our items ship from 3 different countries. In India and Nepal we have our own tailoring workshops that create our custom made items. Our vintage pieces are often stored and ship from there also, as we do not have the space in the UK and our tailors will carry out any restoration/repair work required. IRON-ON instructions:
If selecting the iron on option a sheet of double sided iron on adhesive will be sent with your patch. We would not recommend iron on for this patch, it is very intricate. However if you want to give a go we are happy to supply with the adhesive paper!

To use follow these steps:
1. Cut to size.
2. Place adhesive on wrong side of patch with paper liner facing up.
3. Iron on full heat without steam for 10-20 seconds until the entire adhesive is bonded.
4. Peel off paper liner and place on your project/garment.
5. Using a tea towel over the patch iron again for 15-30 seconds until entire adhesive is bonded.

After bonding patches are machine washable/dry cleanable.

For ornate patches or in order for the patch to better withstand wear and tear, you might want to stitch it around the edges.

Iron on patches are suitable for non stretch cotton/poly cotton garments. You may be able to use on other fabric types but sew in is the safer option to withstand wear and tear.

Hi, Thanks for shopping with us. please do check your package, you will find glue tranfer sheets in there. You need to iron on to the patch then to your fabric. in depth instructions are in every patch listing. Warm regards!

The company that was delivering the embroidery, left it on the front steps. It had been raining for two days and was raining when it was delivered. The package was soaked and the items inside were soaked also. I had to let it dry before I could use it.
