What size to purchase:
For square pillow covers; use an insert one size up for the fullest look (Example: 18"x18" cover = 19"x19" or 20"x20" insert). Or use an insert the same size as the cover for a softer more relaxed look.

For rectangle or lumbar shape pillow covers; use an insert approx. 2" longer than the cover or similar (Example 12x18" cover = 12"x20" insert)

Please use extra care when inserting and removing inserts and support end zipper seams.

This is not velvet in the grand tradition of thick, luxurious cotton velvet. It is thin polyester with very little nap. It is far more akin to microsuede. If that is what you want, then I recommend 100%.
