***IRON-ON INSTRUCTIONS AND TROUBLESHOOTING***

Choose a sturdy fabric to apply your patch to. Cotton, canvas, and denim are great choices. Do not use synthetics. Make sure to pre-wash and dry your fabric without fabric softener or drier sheets.

For canvas patches, pre-heat your iron to medium. For embroidered patches, set your iron to high. Do not use steam. Lay your fabric on a firm, heat-resistant surface.

Pull the protective paper backing from the back of your patch (if it has one) and place it artwork-side up where you’d like it on your fabric.

Press down steadily on the patch with the iron until the adhesive bonds with the patch:
• 8-10 seconds for canvas patches
• 30-60 seconds for embroidered patches

Turn the fabric over. Press the iron against the back side of the patch for 3-5 seconds (canvas), or 30 seconds (embroidered).
***Allow to cool completely***, then check that patch is securely attached.
If it’s not, repeat steps 4 & 5.
