Don't worry - you're not the first to ask - I get this question SO often! In metric units 1 metre is the same as 100 centimetres, but if you're more familiar with imperial units then 1mtr is equivalent to 39 inches or 3 foot 3 inches. Just think of a metre as a generous yard :-) If you need specific conversions then Google is super helpful with these: https://www.google.com/search?q=Unit+converter

Stock Availability & Quantities

The quantity available on the Etsy shop should be the amount of actual stock I have, you can increase the quantity up to the maximum available. If you want more than 1 metre (or whatever the sales unit) then just increase the quantity that you add to your "basket", remember that you won't be able to add more than what I have available. It's rare, but, occasionally the inventory goes wrong and I don't have as much stock as stated... 1. If I'm just a little bit short then I'll refund the difference to you and send your order. 2. If there's quite a bit short then I'll contact you; - you can choose to have the short length - or you can wait for more stock - or cancel the order :-(

I can create a custom order for you if you need a larger quantity or a specific quantity, or if you'd like to pre-order something that is low-stock, just let me know what you need :-) Sorry, I don't print or manufacture the ribbons & trims in my shop so I'm unable to offer custom prints, designs or colours.

Wholesale availability

Please contact me if you'd like to order large quantities or bulk buy my products, I will be happy to work with you :-) Most products can be supplied as "full reel" quantities and I can source thousands of products from my network of suppliers and manufacturers.

How long will it take?

ALL the items shown in my Etsy shop are physically in stock in my studio but, I'm not just taking an item from the shelf and sticking a shipping label on it, it's a lengthy manual process to pick, measure, cut, wrap and pack the trims - and I do this with care and attention. The estimated dispatch times on shown on Etsy are updated depending on my current workload, so these guides are fairly accurate. Most orders are completed within 5 business days but at peak times (October/November especially!) this can be much longer. I process orders in chronological order from when they're received so the sooner you place an order the sooner it'll be dispatched. If you have a specific deadline or are concerned about timings then please contact me.

Please note that your payment is processed securely by Etsy so I can't adjust the payment values if you'd like to increase quantities or add to your order. If you would like to add to your order and it hasn't been dispatched then please follow this procedure: 1. Send me a message to let me know your intentions of placing another order, I will hold your existing order. 2. Place a new order for the extra items you wish to purchase, I will then process your orders as one, combine shipping and refund the additional shipping charges. If you have ordered an additional quantity of the same ribbon I will try to send this as one length. * If your order has already been dispatched then I can't combine shipping.

Please contact me if you have any concerns about my packaging. I try not to have wasteful or plastic packaging wherever possible. *I wrap the ribbons/trims around recycled cards & fasten with paper labels, sometimes I bundle the items & fasten them with strips of re-used paper. *The ribbons are then packed into recycled paper bags or recycled acid-free tissue paper and closed with paper washi-tape and paper labels. *The order is then sent in either a eco-friendly paper envelope, a PLASTIC-FREE padded mailer, or a cardboard box sealed with paper tape, all are made from recycled materials and can ALL be RECYCLED :-) whoohoo!! When large quantities of the same ribbon are ordered I re-use empty ribbon reels, which are also eco-friendly.

Standard shipping with the Royal Mail is NOT tracked. If you have not selected a shipping upgrade at the checkout then I cannot track your package. UK: Standard shipping by 2nd class, upgrade available for 1st class, "signed for" & "special delivery" Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland & The Netherlands: Standard shipping by "Royal Mail International Standard" is NOT tracked, upgrade available for "Tracked/Signed" USA & Everywhere else: Standard shipping by Royal Mail "Tracked/Signed" which is trackable for *most* destinations and/or requires a signature on delivery. If you have already placed the order but would like to upgrade the shipping then please contact me before dispatch to arrange additional payment towards an upgrade.

My order hasn't arrived :-( what now?

I'm sorry that your order hasn't been delivered, it's disappointing for you and I both - I want you to have your ribbon! Rest assured, orders are covered by the Etsy Purchase Protection Program, if your order is lost or hasn't arrived within the delivery window, or if it has been damaged in transit then the next step is to open a case through Etsy, here's how: help.etsy.com/hc/en-gb/articles/5745586898199-How-to-Open-a-Case?segment... I ship all orders through Etsy and purchase the shipping labels from Etsy so the only way to get a refund is for the buyer to open a case - as a seller I am unable to issue a refund in this situation. Please note that I do not send replacements but if you choose to reorder then I will expedite dispatch.

USA Shipping Update - Feb 2026

Since the Etsy update to the conditions of their "purchase protection program" in January, I now have to send all USA shipments with tracked delivery, this is significantly more expensive so it was not a decision that I took lightly, and I'm so sorry for the disappointing result. Where possible, try to purchase a number of items to make the shipping worthwhile - or perhaps combine orders with friends to split the cost. The good news is that your order is protected by Etsy's "purchase protection program" so if the order is delayed, lost or damaged you can claim a full refund by opening a case through Etsy.

Seller's description

Specifications

May include: Cream-colored ribbon with the words "PEACE" and "LOVE" printed in a silver glitter font, separated by a silver star. The ribbon is a neutral color, suitable for various craft projects.

A simple but charming design featuring the festive sentiments "PEACE LOVE NOEL JOY" separated by little stars, printed in muted metallic gold on an ivory lightweight canvas-style ribbon.

Use it for gift wrapping, hair bows, card making and journaling, cake decorating - suitable for most craft and decor projects.

The print is only on one side, the ribbon colour is the same on both sides.

It's so lovely that ribbon can be untied, reused, and re-gifted over and over again, cutting down on waste and giving a little extra with every gift.

Material Composition: 100% Polyester
Specs: Do not wash, bleach, iron, tumble dry or dry clean.

Approximate size conversions for your reference:
Width: 15mm = 1.5cm = 9/16 inch
1 metre = 100cm = 39 inches = 3 foot 3 inches

1 quantity = 1 metre.
The price shown is for 1 metre, you can increase the length by increasing the quantity added to your basket, when ordering multiples I will try to supply this in one continuous length up to a maximum length of a full reel (in this case, 20mtr). If you require certain lengths please contact me.
*NB: Not supplied on a reel & not tied in a bow.

I can supply larger bulk quantities at special prices, please contact me for details.

Shipping is combined if you add multiple items (from my shop) to your basket and checkout in a single transaction.

Great care has been taken to photograph the product in natural light and I have tried to recreate the colours and details as accurately as possible with minimal photo processing, but please note there may be slight variances, this can also be due to the differences in screen and monitor settings.

Any lifestyle or group product photos are for illustration/inspiration purposes only.

The wooden “Plum Bowtique” bobbin which features in some of my product photos is only a photo prop and does not indicate that the items are supplied on a bobbin. It was handmade especially for me by, the fantastically talented, Lisa at Polkadot Winslow.

*PLEASE CHECK ESTIMATED DISPATCH & DELIVERY DATES* I keep the processing and dispatch times up to date on Etsy so these are fairly accurate – please contact me if you have any concerns about meeting specific deadlines. Dispatch is from Bristol, UK - so customers in the UK should receive your items a few days after dispatch.

I would be delighted if you saved my shop as a “favourite” on Etsy by clicking the heart icon on my homepage (plumbowtique.etsy.com). It would also be wonderful if you “liked” my Facebook page (@PlumBowtique) or “followed” me on Instagram (@plum.bowtique)

Please contact me if there is a problem with your order. I will do my very best to resolve any issues and would appreciate that you give me a chance to do so before you leave a review.
