Antique 1920s Girl Scout Uniform. Khaki. Belt. Patches. Scarf. Pins. Buttons.

This is a 1920s era Girl Scout uniform dress in khaki twill. She has seven proficiency badges (patches), belt, and cotton scarf. Two star pins and a trefoil pin and trefoil patch. Each cuff has only one GS button (originally there were two) and one epaulet is missing the button. The belt once had a button but it's missing, as well. All placket buttons are present along with the pocket buttons. GS patches are sewn on each collar and the scarf has a print of the GS emblem on the back. This likely belonged to a teen young lady based upon the size. 37 inches long, 18 across the front of the bust, 14 inch shoulder seam to seam, and 20 inch sleeves. Xsmall to small women's. The original GS uniforms were blue before khaki was introduced. The khaki became more popular. The GS green (greenish gray) came out, I believe, in the early 1930s.I have a 1930s one, as well, but still packed away.
Two of the proficiency badges are on the backside of the sleeve. Seven in total.
