This watercolour painting of Pelham Street in Nottingham is available as a print in A4 and A3. As soon as
I saw the reference photo on a colleague’s WhatsApp group at the very beginning of Lockdown 2020, I asked her to send it to me because I wanted to paint it. I loved the composition , and the subject matter is of great historical significance: a lone figure in what is usually a street packed with busy shoppers, with the world unaware of what was to unfold. I don’t know who took the reference photo, but I was so inspired by it, I had to paint it. (please message me if it’s you,)

I use an EPSON printer and ink, (which is pigment based for excellent colour and a lasting, fade resistant finish), on Black Diamond Matte Canvas Paper 220gsm.
