These beautiful Operculum Shells, also known as "Eye of Shiva" are beautiful! I decided to just keep them simple and they look amazing on. I also love what the shells represent: "Shiva eye shells, also known as Pacific Cat’s Eye, are found in the seabeds of Thailand, Indonesia, and Australia. This uniquely swirling shell is actually the protective door at the opening of a Turban snail’s shell, which detaches at the end of the snail’s natural life. Serving as a protective covering to the softness within the snail, it is symbolically also considered a doorway into the unconscious, opening to reveal the full power of the Third Eye chakra.
Shiva eye symbolizes creation, destruction, spiritual knowledge, and transformation. Its spiral pattern illustrates eternity, understanding, and the interconnectedness of all things. Placed on the Third Eye, this shell is purported to help us connect with the universal mind, the Divine, and our highest selves. Representing wisdom, it helps us to look beyond the obvious to see and understand more deeply what we encounter."
15mm Operculum Shells are drilled through the center and wrapped with oxidized copper wire. They dangle from lovely 37x16 antique copper plated earwires. These look fantastic on. Great for singing, dancing or frolicking in the forest, or on the beach! You will love them, I promise.
★ Please NOTE --- Earrings are made to order, so slight differences in shell sizes and color should be expected. They are all gorgeous, so I promise you will not be disappointed.
★ Earrings dangle approximately 2.25 inches and weigh 2 grams each.
★ Copper plated earwires are made from base metal and contain NO Lead or Nickel.
Lovingly packaged and mailed out promptly in a pretty little decorative box - perfect for gift giving, or dream catching.
