ABOUT THE ARTIST
I was born and raised in Massachusetts, USA. I am a self-taught artist learning by painting and observing art every day. Having painted in watercolors as a hobby for 25 years I now have more time to devote to painting and am experimenting with new mediums and techniques.
My whimsical flower paintings renewed my interest in painting and exploration into acrylics.
I try to capture the wonderful light in my still life paintings, whether it’s reflecting off glass or bouncing off a pepper.
Whatever style or subject, the common thread of my paintings is using beautiful colors making the pieces feel modern and fresh.
