Made from 1/4" (6mm) Spiral Steel Boning with Aluminum 1/4" Boning Tips.

I will cut and tip as many bones as you need for your project.
(up to 18" each in length) (18" - 24" will incur an additional charge of .50ea)

I use a special crimping die in my grommet press to attach these. (please see photos)

PLEASE NOTE: I strongly suggest subtracting at least 1/2" from the total length to give yourself some room for seam allowances as I cannot be responsible for the bones being too long which may cause the bones to pierce through the fabric.

I have been sewing renaissance garb for a number of years now and ABSOLUTELY LOVE using this boning!!

I have actually replaced the plastic boning with this spiral boning in previous bodices that I made before finding this stuff.

It bends any which way and then reverts to its original shape!

Gives extra support to garment.

Some other uses that my customers have come up with: Bracers, Hat Brims, Tall cape collar, Petticoats.

Uses only limited by your imagination.

I was so impressed by this steel boning. It contours with the body so much better than plastic boning and is as easy to use. Great quality boning with all finished edges.
