I have received the item and I would like to say that it is amazing, however I have to say that DHL is the worst! They have asked me to pay more than 35% of the item cost to receive it saying it is the vat, so why I wasn’t informed about this hidden payment before?? It would be better to arrange with dhl before sending the item and make sure that customers knew about such high additional and unexpected payment because it is so disappointing!!!

Hello Rowa! Thanks for your valuable review. Since the VAT rate in Saudi Arabia is 35%, it is Saudi Arabian government that charges you the VAT fee, not DHL. This rate varies in each country. 3% in the USA if the purchase is more than $800, 20% in Europe if not paid on Etsy, 35% in Saudi Arabia, etc. Since Etsy cannot collect VAT on behalf of Saudi Arabia and pay it to the necessary authority, it is requested from you at customs.
