With your order you'll be commissioning a one of a kind hand painted illustration of your home (or any other building) painted with watercolour paint and detailed further in pen and/or ink. This is a fully original artwork created by hand - no digital prints or adjustments!
DESIGN PROCESS
I use photos as reference for your artwork, as such I will need a high quality photo that shows the full front of the house or building, and am happy to add in extra details (a beloved pet, or the pots and plants) on request.
Please send your photo(s) via Etsy Message as soon as possible after purchasing your item so we can get started, along with any other requests or preferences. If you are also happy to provide an address that I can use on google maps, that would be very helpful.
I will provide a pencil sketch for you prior to painting to show placements of any additional details agreed (pets/plants). Once I have your feedback on this I will start painting, and any changes made and agreed, beyond this no further changes can be made.
Paintings are all on cold pressed 300gsm heavyweight watercolour paper, and most measure 4x4inches unless otherwise agreed.
FRAMES
Your original illustration comes mounted and framed in your choice of frame from my stock, I use either white, grey, or black wooden frames with off-white mounts as standard. If you'd like more details about the frames available, please just ask.
TIMINGS
Custom artwork needs 2-3 weeks from order, but this can vary depending on the complexity of the work, so I will be in touch with more details post-order.
POSTAGE AND DELIVERY
Your artwork will arrive beautifully wrapped and safely packed, usually sent by Royal Mail. First class mail in the UK takes 1-2 working days, contact me for alternative or expedited shipping options.
