Heat and humidity play a key factor in how your paint behaves. Humidity – Stickier // Heat – Dryer. This does not and will not affect the usefulness of the paints. Allow your colors to dry after using to prevent any mold. Do not leave wet and enclosed. A tacky texture is fine. Store in Dry low humidity areas. Display out of direct sunlight and use on watercolor paper. Acid free is suggested, 140lb 300gsm.

Each pan is filled to the top, dried and then filled again. Some colors can crack while others remain solid. This doesn’t affect the use of them in any way. Some pigments shrink slightly as they dry in the pan which is why I go back a second time and top coat them.

What are Dots & How do you use them?

Dots are small amounts of paint that are formed into half spheres. The weight they are can range between .3grams-.5gram. I am pouring them into a silicone mold and allowing them to dry and then weighing them based on this. The average seems to be between those weights. I do plan on mainstreaming dots as well as creating a wooden // acrylic // & Resin affordable palette to hold them in in the very new future! They will be glued with binder onto a single piece of watercolor paper. You can remove them and put them on your own palette or leave them on the watercolor paper. Activation is the same for the dot as it is for the paint pans.

Activation time can take anywhere up to 5 minutes. Drop small amounts of water onto the pan or dot and let it sit for up to 5 minutes. Swirl the paint brush into the paint - picking up the pigment as you would normally and then utilizing as you see fit. Reducing strength can be done like any other paint - add more water

You may see that pricing is different from paint to paint My pricing is on how easily I can obtain the pigment, how much the pigment cost, how much time it takes to cure and also how much effort i have to put in to making it. This differs based on pan vs dot as well.

Very pigmented and creamy watercolors. Very happy with the quality of all the colors and the 3-D printed dot pan I purchased as well. Packaging was nice and the seller included some a couple of free dot samples along with some stickers. Shipping took almost a month to receive, part of that was the seller not shipping until two weeks after I had placed the order and part of it was the USPS shipping sending it all over the country before it getting to me. There was no indication on the items that there was a long processing time and there communication from the seller as to why the items were so delayed in being sent. Regardless of the shipping issue, I will order again as the items are high quality.
