Remember the formica clocks from the 60s?
Their unique style and the great diversity of models is crazy!
Here they are again, restored by me!
I start by selling them one by one at garage sales, recycling centers, flea markets or directly from individuals.
I am always discovering new models that have survived the years with flying colors!

I completely disassemble them to clean them and polish their brass or silver dials.
To preserve your peace of mind, I chose a silent quartz mechanism.
Mechanism that works with a simple 1.5 V LR6 AA battery.
A dial allows you to adjust the hands to adjust the time.
I install a closed metal hook on the mechanism.
You can hang it on a nail or screw previously installed in the desired location.

This FFR Morbier brand model caught my attention with its original format and its double veneer formica: painted red for the lower side and black for the upper side.
We also fell in love with its brass dial and removable curved glass and its cream and gold dial.
The black formica was scratched in several places so I chose a red, cream, black Japanese inspired paper to cover this part of the clock.
I also love its brass logo in the center.
