This is a solid gold ring constructed using pure 24k gold.

I start with refined .999 pure gold and melt it to red hot liquid metal, then forge it into a bar which is painstakingly rolled and hammered into the finished ring you see.

The brilliance of pure 24k (99.9% gold content) gold is unmistakable. The rich color stands out from most standard jewelry that is made from 14k (58.3% gold content) and 18k (75% gold content) jewelry.

The band is comfort fit, so it is domed on both the inside and the outside for a comfortable fit. It is a very hefty ring at 7mm wide and 2.8mm thick. Weights vary depending on your size selection (The ring in the photos is a size 10 and weighs about 20.5 grams. Prices are adjusted accordingly at checkout depending on your size selection.)

***IMPORTANT NOTE: With this ring I have been recommending that you order 1/2 size DOWN in size from what you would normally wear. (Example: If you normally do a size 10, order this one as a 9 1/2.) Due to the convex "comfort fit" style on the inside of the band, it will feel a bit looser than a standard "half round" style ring. 1/2 size down seems to be about right.***

Each ring is made to order so there will be very slight variations from what you see here, but I strive for these dimensions and texture that you see in these photos.

This rings has a subtle hammered texture with an intentionally "rough" appearance which highlights the brilliant rich color of the pure gold. And while pure gold is a naturally soft metal, the thickness and shape of this piece provides rigidity and overall wearability.

Each ring is stamped "24k" on the inside of the band.
