In order to clean your marble piece, wipe it with a soft cloth and water and dry it thoroughly. Remove Spills in a timely manner. Please don’t use bleach, abrasive or acid cleaners. They will etch the marble.

***Caution***
Marble can be etched by common food as citrus, tomato, vinegar (even seal pieces). Also, some common toiletries (i.e., perfume, toothpaste, mouthwash) may damage the stone surface. Don’t let them sit on the marble.

Marble is a very porous stone, in case you have selected a sealed piece. We have added a water and oil safe-food sealer. When sealing, porous size decrease preventing the moisture or liquid wick through the marble immediately. At the end, both sealed and unsealed marble will absorb the moisture. The difference is that sealed ones will give you more time to clean it up.

Sealer should be reapplied. Here is a good tip:"When water no longer beads, you know it's time to reseal".

Please take into account that delivery on international orders varies from country to country, since it depends not only on US Postal Service, but also Postal Service on the other country and specially customs.

The piece is perfect. I appreciate the recommendation to use Thassos marble rather than Carrara that I first picked. It arrived sooner than expected. I would order from LuKa Designs again.
