ABOUT:
Every piece of wood is carefully selected specifically for its highly-rated properties for use as a cutting board. Domestic as well as exotic woods are chosen for their uniqueness in color, density, and general quality as a potential cutting board. While many of the same wood types are used, rarely are they the same in appearance, so you can count on purchasing a truly one-of-a-kind item.

All pieces of wood chosen are non-toxic and non-porous to ensure each cutting board maintains its original appearance as closely as possible. Each cutting board is treated and sealed with Howard food-safe mineral oil to prevent bacterial growth and protect the wood from excessive moisture contact.

Cutting boards using multiple types of wood (striped boards) are glued together using a highly rated waterproof, food safe wood glue.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
*It is recommended to reapply a wood conditioner or oil (must be food safe) every 2-4 weeks.*

1. Apply a liberal amount of conditioner/oil to a soft cloth and wipe the entire surface of the board, making sure to cover it completely. This can be done 1-3 times every 20-30 minutes, or until the board no longer absorbs the conditioner/oil.
2. Wipe away any excess oil/conditioner.
3. Let the board dry overnight before using/washing.
4. Wash both sides to prevent warping. Washing should be done with warm water and mild, unscented soap. DO NOT SOAK. Dry immediately.
