I found this at a local yard sale. Perfect for May Day!
The previous owner used this as an Elf costume....and won first place! She is a seamstress and made a few alterations. She also made an elf hat and pointy fabric shoe covers that she said work over most shoes. There you go… just get yourself some pointy ears!
Or… use as a Dirndl or German barmaid’s costume. Octoberfest!
Previous owner was a size 6 but she said it was roomy. Please check flat measurements against something that fits well.

May Day dress!
Great costume for Halloween, Christmas Elf - Oktoberfest or any German formal event.
Very nice vintage condition. Sold as found. There are a very few spots/stains. The dress has a spot near the front center. The apron has 2 light stains. The shirt has slight underarm stains. You may have luck removing them.

Flat measurement:
Shoulder to hem - 35”
Shoulder to waist:15”
Armpit to armpit: 17 1/2”
Waist: 13 1/2”
Width at hem: 37”
