These bee print / pale blue greyhound pajamas are a great look for any hound.

Our cozy, made to measure greyhound and whippet clothing is made especially for the unique deep chested, narrow waisted body shape of sighthounds. Also great for other deep chested, narrow waisted breeds such as weimeraners, Viszlas, Dobermans, etc. They have two front legs and pull on over the head and front legs much like a human sweater does. They are made of quality, thick, anti-pil fleece, perfect for keeping your hound warm on colder nights in the house, in pub beer gardens as the sun goes down or whilst away camping or caravanning. They can also be used as a lighter outdoor coat on days where it's a bit chilly, or theres a light rain. The fleece will keep your hound dry in the drizzle (but is not waterproof, it will eventually become saturated so its not recommended to go out in a downpour - if your hound will even let you leave the house when it's raining!), and can also be used as a drying coat when your hound comes inside damp. The fleece material wicks the moisture away from the dog's skin and fur, and then the jumper can be quickly dried on the radiator.

Each one is made by hand, to fit your dog according to the measurements you provide. Please measure (in inches) the length of your dogs back, from the base of the neck (high up between the shoulder blades where neck just starts to turn into back) to the base of the tail, and also around the chest at the deepest part (usually just behind the front legs) with the soft tape measure against the dog’s skin all the way round but not pulled uncomfortably tight. The neck/collar part of the pajamas is not included in these measurements.

Sighthounds tend to have chests that are 0-4 inches bigger than their back measurement (eg a dog with a 28” back might have a 28-32” chest), but they do not usually have smaller chest measurements than that of their back. If you’re getting a smaller measurement please double check you’re measuring in the right place. Please provide the actual measurements and not how big you think you'd like the pjs to be, as the pattern adds enough room for the fit to be relaxed, comfortable and cosy. If you add some extra to your measurements then the coat will end up being too big. If you have any questions at all please just send me a message and I'll be happy to help.

This listing is for pjs made from bee print anti-pil polar fleece on a pale blue background. They are machine washable on a cool cycle, and can be tumble dried on a low heat.

You can wash our collars and pjs on a cool cycle in a washing machine. We recommend that you put the collar inside something like a pillowcase and tie a knot in the top - this will stop the metal hardware from banging around inside your washing machine.

Then leave your collar or pjs to air dry naturally. Collars usually take around 24h to dry, and pjs usually just a few hours as fleece is quick drying.

To measure for pjs, the back length measurement should be taken from the base of the neck (between the shoulder blades right where they meet the neck/start to become shoulders) to the top of the tail. The chest measurement should be taken right around the deepest part of the check, usually just behind the front legs. They are fitted for the standard greyhound/whippet shape, with a deep but narrow chest. If you have a different breed please let me know and I can adjust the pattern to fit correctly.

For every fleece pattern that I list in my shop I have made an example set of pajamas to photograph so that people can see how the pattern looks once it’s made into a garment.

Ready to ship are slightly cheaper than made to measure for a couple of reasons - firstly the fit is made to a standard back/chest ratio so may not be as good as having pajamas made to your hound’s measurements. Secondly, it’s a bit of a lottery for me to find buyers who like the pattern and have a hound who is the right size, so they’re a little cheaper to give people an incentive to buy and stop the PJs sitting lonely and unloved on my shelves.

I also just love to sew, so occasionally have time to make extra pjs in ready-to-mail sizes.

Absolutely! If you see a fleece pattern you like and you’d like it in a combination you can’t see, just send a message. I can only list items I’ve already made and photographed, but there are literally thousands of possible fleece colors and patterns you could choose to combine.

You can choose different colors/patterns for the neck, legs, trim and body of pjs.

Plus if you have an idea for a theme you can’t see, just message me and I’ll see which different fleeces I can source for you (with no obligation to buy if you don’t like the options I suggest).

Usually it takes around 7-10 days for me to make a made-to-measure jumper, sometimes up to 14 days depending on how busy I am.

Then packages are mailed via USPS, and usually take 3-5 business days to arrive within the US, and usually around 2 weeks to arrive internationally, although the customs process can sometimes extend this time frame when delivering abroad.
