Once upon a time I’ve been having a dream to keep a donkey as a pet…Actually I still have, though I know it’s a kind of impossible. However, I never miss a glance into a donkey’s eyes whenever I meet one. There is something in that animal which make drown deeply in thoughts. It’s beautiful and proud no matter how bad his master treats him/ her. A few days ago a fiend of mine shared with his strongest impression he’d got , while traveling in Ethiopia. It was an event, which caused him writing a song titled “Donkeys don’t care”.
It was like he rode an old bus in some Mount area. The road was just as bad as bad can be roads in a third world country. It steeply ran down, making lots of unexpected curves, when suddenly they saw a untied donkey standing in the middle. The driver was doing his best to avoid the crash, he urgently pushed brakes and twisted the wheel. Probably a miracle took a place. The crowded puffing bus had kept it’s way. My breath taken friend turned back and couldn’t tear his eye following the donkey, which kept standing in the same position, as if nothing could have happen just a moment before. I will to dedicate my donkey to the nobility and suffering of all the donkeys.
