Materials: ceramic canister, carbon filter

This compost crock began life as a ceramic canister. It is decorated with a large magnolia blossom on each side, a ribbon with bow in the front, and flower bud with leaves on the lid. The canister measures ~9 3/4" in height including the lid, is 6 1/4" in diameter, and will hold a plentiful ~14 1/2 cups of kitchen scraps. I drilled holes in the lid, and fitted it with a carbon filter. There is a repaired chip on the upper outer edge, as well as two tiny chips on the lid and one near the bow. The label instructs that this should be hand washed only (please see photos).

Designed to sit on your kitchen counter, this compost crock will add charm to any kitchen decor. It's the perfect gift for the gardener in your life. Compost makes plants happy! As these canisters have been repurposed, you may notice slight signs of it's previous life. If it is significant, I will point that out in this listing.
