This listing features an exceptionally beautiful Vintage Deauville Faceted AB Crystal Bead Necklace and Matching Earrings.

The Aurora Borealis Crystal beads are beautifully faceted and are all dazzling, showing all the colors of the rainbow and beaming brightly with or without light shining on them. The necklace features a single strand of crystals with black glass cone shaped bead in between the faceted crystal beads. The black accent bead cones enhance the beauty of the necklace giving it a very elegant and stylish look. The clasp is a sterling silver push clasp. The necklace measures approximately 23 1/2" in length. The crystal beads measure approximately 3/8" x 1/4". The matching earrings feature the same AB crystals with the black accent beads in between the crystals. The earrings have post backs and measure approximately 1 1/8" L. The necklace and earrings are in excellent condition.

The Deauville mark is not present on the earrings or necklace. The earrings are on the original Deauville card. The items were discovered at a recent estate sale.

A little about Deauville:
Jewelry with the maker's mark Deauville was manufactured by the JR Wood & Sons Co., founded in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1850. In 1970 the company merged into Lennox Inc in Trenton, New Jersey. The 1975 the name changed from JR Wood to Art-Carved Inc a company that manufactured school, family and wedding rings. The Deauville mark is no longer used.
