Item Details, Description, Information:
The pendant comes with a GIA report ( AKA " Certificate ") identifying the Jade as Jadeite Jade.
More details from the GIA report are provided below and an image of the GIA report is included in the listing images. The GIA report can also be viewed and downloaded from the GIA website at https://www.gia.edu/report-check?reportno=6223652586 .
See my notes below about the GIA and the use of the terms” certificate” and “certified”.*
Jades of a white color with areas of green are often referred to as Moss - in - Snow Jade, or Grass - in - Snow Jade.
In this Jadeite Jade, the green areas are very light. The lavender color is very very light and is not noted by the GIA report. I see lavender in various lighting conditions on a sizeable area of the Jade, but you might not.
The Jadeite Jade is translucent, meaning that light can pass through it but objects cannot be seen through it clearly.
The appearance of the Jade will vary with viewing conditions. I try to show this with the listing images. More images and video are available at https://rebrand.ly/uddlts4 .
More images and videos can be provided by request. Please feel free to request images or videos of particular angles and lighting conditions.
The form or shape of the Jade is described in the GIA report as “Hololith”, essentially a ring cut from a single stone, and can be likened to a classic ring doughnut or an inflated tire tube. It is also typically referred to as a “Bi”.
The carved 18kt gold Chinese characters in the center of the hololith might be a form of blessing.
The pendant is approximately 1 and ⅜ inches in diameter, not including the bale. It is approximately 6.6 millimeters thick/deep.
The gold tests a very strong 18 karat.
The pendant weighs 15.4 grams total.
There are some indistinct characters on the back of the bale, possibly a hallmark or karat mark.

*IMPORTANT NOTE about words such as "certificate" and "certified":
The Gemological Institute of America does not describe its reports as “certificates” or “certifications”. On the GIA website at https://www.gia.edu/terms, GIA states that “...A GIA Report is not a guarantee, valuation or appraisal, and GIA makes no representation or warranty regarding its Reports, the articles described therein or any inscription thereon.….and the Report may not be referred to as a guarantee, certification, valuation or an appraisal….”.
I use the terms “certificate” and “certified” in the listing title only as keywords for search purposes and not to claim that the GIA report is a certificate and I precede such words with "AKA", short for "also known as". The great majority of diamond and gemstone professionals and the diamond and gemstone buying public refer to GIA reports as certificates and the item(s) described in the GIA reports as “certified”. For online searches for items with GIA reports, “GIA certificate” and “GIA certified” are by far the most commonly used search terms.
