Highlights
The Cyanotype kit is two part solution (A 100ml & B 100ml ), 2 x 10 Pack 14cm x 10.7cm 300gsm Card Stock and 1 Foam Brush Applicator. It is non toxic and safe for children, inexpensive and easy to use.
1.Mix equal parts A & B just before you use it. You can use the screw top lid of each solution as a measuring guide. Use lid A for A solution and B for B solution, do not mix. Pour solution in a tray wide enough to fit the brush.
2.Paint the solution on to the paper with the sponge brush supplied in low room light – (not in sunlight or under bright lights) Apply in once stroke on the paper and repeat, do not flood the brush or paper. Coat the paper evenly.
NB:Use the solution sparingly for better results. You can expose on cloudy or even wet days – just takes longer to expose.
3. You can dry with a hair dryer in dim lit room or you can also use wet.
4. Expose in the sun for photograms or in the shade for photographs. Expose for a minimum of 10m
5. The image is “developed” in water – no other chemicals are required. Use a bucket of water to rinse.
6. Hang on a peg to dry.
