Absolutely stunning Finnish woven wall hanging in wool. The name of the piece is called "Iltarusko Lila" or "sunset lilac". It is woven in an ombre color technique which really expresses this sunset quality. Celebrating deep purple, moving into a warm red, then into orange and finally yellow in the center, then moving back out into red and then purple. It is such a soothing piece. Made by the Finnish weavers, Hanhisalon Kutomo KY. Note: If you google "Iltarusko Lila" you will see the gorgeous sunset inspiration this piece was crafted from.

Its made in wool as mentioned and has a sleeve on the top of one side to insert a rod for easy mounting. Could also be used as a large table runner. The piece is labeled.

The beautiful tapestry is in perfect vintage condition.
