Amigurumi duck/Bird pattern

This pattern is written in English using U.S terms

Birds of a feather. I have revamped my old duck pattern to bring you a new versatile pattern which you can use to make so many different birds. Here in the pictures we have a duck, pigeon and a black bird but the possibilities are endless... goose, seagul, crow, parrot, budgie etc, etc.

The pattern is straight forward I recommend it as a beginner/easy pattern. The instructions are detailed and easy to follow if you know the basic stitches and techniques used to make amigurumi. lots of pictures are included in the PDF

The pattern is a PDF and you will need Adobe Reader to open it. I will be happy to help you along if you have any questions when making it.

You will need
Chenille bird:
5 mm crochet hook
Chunky chenille yarn in colours of choice
I used approx. 80g of white and 30g of yellow
Cotton bird:
2.5mm hook
D.K cotton yarn in colours of choice
I used approx. 35g of main colour and 20g of contrast depending on which bird you make.
Toy stuffing
Stitch marker (scrap of yarn)
