NAME - PAROS Tablecloth
We wanted to bring in a collection of solid colors, but we also wanted it to be more fun and have more depth. So, this organic cotton tablecloth was born. This organic cotton tablecloth's long journey starts from farmers who grow organic cotton. The cotton is then spun into thread and then woven by hand on a handloom. Once the fabric is ready. it is dyed in plants and minerals to bring on this magical marble effect. It's almost all white with some blueish-black river like strands flowing in. This makes for a beautiful wedding gift. Pair this with the any of our marble effect napkins and/or our Noire Table Runner for a chic table setting.

CARE
Be respectful of the fiber and hand or machine wash separately, cold, on gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Dry flat. Iron if necessary. Be aware of any color bleeds in the first few washes.

ABOUT BLOCK PRINTING
Block Printing is an ancient printing technique especially with the use of vegetable dyes. After the wooden block is carved with the pattern, the fabric is then prepared with multiple washes to make the fiber ready to take the dye. With the process of multiple printings and washing before the final product is placed in a dye bath of flowers and barks, the fabric goes through the hands of the block printer and dyer with utmost care. That same care is passed onto the consumer who wishes to take part in this process of honoring the craft and the earth that gives us so much.
