Halloween Orders are for UNLINED dresses ONLY, If you are ordering a lined dress you will need to pay the rush order fee otherwise lined dresses may be subject to delays and not arrive in time.
All Halloween orders are only guaranteed to ship out on time for the mail class selected at checkout, we do not guarantee delivery dates as once an item is shipped any delays or losses that occur are the responsibility of the postal service.

The kimono dress is a three part outfit that can be worn together or separately depending on the look you're trying to achieve or other items you pair with it. It consists of a top in the traditional kimono style that wraps to a close and is kept in place using the obi. Our obis are corseted in the back so that you may adjust your fit more comfortably taking it in as tight or leaving it as loose as you like. The skirt is a separate piece from the top with an elastic waistband for comfort and stretch.

The petticoat is not included but can be added to your order at an additional cost. At checkout you may leave a note with a request of your preferred petticoat color choice, we will do our best to honor this request but it is not guaranteed you will receive the color of your choice. If your color choice is not available by time your order is ready to ship you will be sent a white or black petticoat.

SIZING GUIDE PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND FULLY

If you find yourself on the cusp of two sizes you can choose to order the bigger size for a looser fit or the smaller size for a more form fitted fit. Both sizes will fit you but will change the comfortability and style of the fit. A smaller size may look more sexy and need to be worn with more chevage/chest showing.

Lined dresses run smaller than unlined dresses, if you are at the top end of a size in the top or skirt and ordering a lined dress you should order the next size up in the top or skirt, Do NOT do this for the obi.

To select the sizing for your kimono -
Top - use only your Bust measurement
Obi - use only your natural waist measurement - this is the smallest part of your waist, not where your pants waistline sits
Skirt - use only your hip measurement - Skirts are made with elastic waistbands so the maximum stretch of the skirt should fit your hip measurement

Please refer to the size chart in photos to find the Letter match to your measurement for each part of the outfit and then use the drop down menu to select your sizing.

If you are unsure on what size is best for you please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance. Please be sure to include your measurements in inches. Keep in mind that our recommendation to you is just a recommendation based on information you are providing to us. It does not equate to a custom order and will not make us responsible if the fit of the garment you choose at checkout is too big or small.

CONSTRUCTION TIME INFO

Our Designs are 100% made to order, this means construction times can take anywhere from between 1-10 weeks. On average depending on workload and the amount of orders we currently have open kimonos take 4-8 weeks to make, this does not include shipping time.

It is only one person making all the orders this shop receives. We're an extremely small business just trying to make a living and hiring more staff would mean increasing our pricing to pay them fairly. So Please have patience!

We try to get orders out as fast as possible but we do order a lot of our materials online to keep the cost down for you the buyer, this means we're at the mercy of materials being in stock and shipped to us on time. Please feel free to inquire before buying if you have a specific date you need the order by if you feel worried that it won't arrive in time. We're happy to check material supplies and estimate how long your order will take and if we can meet the date.

Please do not contact us after purchase to ask for it to be made faster, these requests will not be honored.

If you need it by a specific date that falls before the deadline provided by us on the listing please contact us before purchase, we are always happy to work with you! Keep in mind that this is just a request and that while we do our best it is not a guarantee. If you absolutely must have it by a certain date please consider a Rush Order.

RUSH ORDER INFO

Rush order fee - $100 per kimono dress - Petticoats not always available for rush orders depending on the desired ship by date.

The Rush order fee is for when you need your kimono shipped by a date earlier than the estimated delivery date shown. Estimated Delivery falls between 4-8 weeks typically closer to that 8 week mark. Rush order ship by dates can be requested within a time frame of 1-2 weeks of the order placed depending on the kimono design

We do not guarantee delivery dates only ship by dates, Please make sure when placing a rush order that you understand you are only rushing the labor, pushing your order ahead of other orders placed before yours, and being given a guaranteed Ship By date instead of an estimated one, and NOT a guaranteed delivery date. Packages are mailed out Priority Mail which typically takes 2-4 days, but as we are not the post office we can not control the time they take to deliver your package and there is always a risk of it getting delayed or lost in the mail and not arriving in time once shipped. Upgraded shipping services such as express or express overnight are available but must be discussed before purchase and will be an additional cost as all listings are only priced for priority mail and the rush order fee is not a shipping fee but a labor fee.

Rush orders need to be inquired about before they can be purchased. Please let us know in a message before purchase the date you'd like the item to ship by, we recommend padding this ship by date out by at least 5-10 days of when you actually need the item. Again we do not guarantee delivery dates, you are only paying for your item to be put in the mail by a certain date, once shipped the time it takes for the item to arrive is at the mercy of the shipping provider and mail class used. If for some reason your package is delayed and does not arrive in the time you were hoping there is no refund or return from this shop, you will need to work directly with your post office or the shipping service used to see what compensation they offer in that situation. Not all shipping classes or shipping providers offer any compensation in return for delayed or lost mail. While we are happy to assist in this process and will handle any aspects of this process on our end we know of or are informed of we will not assist hostile or argumentative customers in any part of the process. For example if we are told by the shipping provider that you as the customer need to go and do XYZ before we can do our part of the process and you refuse or try and tell us that you shouldn't have to do that because you're the customer and shouldn't have to do any work or our job for us, communication will be ended on our part until you do as asked so we can proceed in the process.

SHIPPING INFO

All orders placed to the same name and address will ship together to eliminate the need for multiple tracking numbers even if the orders are purchased separately over several days. We do not offer shipping discounts as the shipping cost is calculated by the orders weight and is accurately reflected in cart.

We ship in water and tear proof poly mailers unless otherwise specified. In rare cases if your order is very large it may be shipped in a box instead. All kimono dresses are shipped Priority Mail and are insured to the packages full value. Priority Mail typically takes 2-4 days and is not reflected by etsys estimated delivery date system, please add 4 days to their timeline.

Please note that shipping insurance only covers loss or damage that may occur while the package is in the care of the usps. Once tracking is update and marked to delivered the post office considers the shipment fulfilled and the insurance coverage period ends. This means once delivered you are solely responsible for any damage from the elements or potential theft that may occur. We highly encourage you to retrieve your delivers promptly to avoid these situations. If you can not be home for a delivery please consider asking for Signature confirmation or leaving delivery instructions with your local post office.

Please make sure to provide accurate addresses and real names. We do not offer cancellations on kimono orders and the address and name you leave at checkout is the only one we will mail it to. It cannot be changed after you place your order. If you need to change it for any reason the only way to do so is to place your order again with the correct information, after which we will cancel and refund the original wrong order. Yes essentially you'll be buying it twice to make the change but you will be refunded for the wrong order as soon as the new order is placed and processed through the system.

If your package gets mailed back to us due to a failure to deliver, no such address, no such resident, cannot leave, or any reason along those lines you will need to pay for it to be shipped again. If it doesn't get delivered because of a mistake on our end then we will cover that cost.

We are no longer shipping to the EU or Germany. You're welcome to have a 3rd party within the united states order your dress for shipping to a US address and then have it sent on to you through another means through them but the 3rd party will be considered the buyer of the item and your purchase and we are not responsible for any problems you may have with your order should you choose to do this.

If you need a different packaging option such as a box or gift wrapping please contact us before purchase so we can make the adjustment to the shipping cost, requests after purchase will not be honored.

Kimonos are non-refundable or exchangeable. Once The item is shipped it is yours forever no exceptions. So please double check that your measurements are correct and that you don't have any questions before purchase!

If for any reason a material we normally use is out of stock and you have already purchased the item we will message you with either other material options or a restock date. We unfortunately do not control what the store stocks or how often it is available. It's not a common occurrence that we can't find what we need, but it does happen. But instead of looking at it negatively we try to take it as a positive and a chance to have a unique one of a kind option with input from you the customer!

Colors may vary. Fabric and trims come in different dye batches which means sometimes the colors will be more or less saturated then they are in the pictures we have posted. This is something completely out of our hands..

Do not copy or steal our designs.

We regularly check eBay, pinterest, Facebook, and other social media for our designs. We will catch you, we will report you (along with a large group of friends and family), you will get your accounts locked or shut down.

We are happy to work with anyone and do our best to match your expectations!

International Customers please be aware that custom and VAT fees are not included in the purchase price of our items, we can not control customs, calculate or pay those fees for you. Please be prepared to have to pay a customs fee to pick up your package. In some cases etsy may offer UK buyers the option to pay VAT upfront, this is collected by etsy not us and if you have any issues or problems surrounding it please contact etsy directly for help.

All our items are handmade which means they will be unique from one another, this also means that variations may occur and all imperfections are to be seen as apart of the artwork/item itself.
