This could be beneficial if a cat had its collar stuck on something (like a fence, or in a fight with another animal outside, etc.). This buckle is not recommended for cats to be walked on a leash. The Goodest Pet shall not be held responsible for any related effects resulting from one's decision to use these collars with a leash.

Please ensure that your kitty is heavy enough to pull apart the safety buckle. A kitten that is too young is advised to wear a collar specifically for kittens. Check and re-check collars as your cat grows.
