Materials: hand carved linoleum, oil based ink, awagami kitakata paper

Unframed relief print of my original work, “becoming” depicting a froglet - not still a tadpole but not quite yet a frog. All prints come signed.

These prints were lovingly hand-carved out of linoleum and printed with a rich black oil-based ink onto 5”x7” cream awagami kitakata paper with a traditional torn edge.

Due to the process of printing linoleum blocks, each piece may contain minor variation. This adds to the charm of relief printing - each piece is unique.

Prints ship in a thin plastic sleeve and an extremely rigid mailer that are both made of 100% post-consumer recycled materials. I strive to limit paper and plastic waste as much as possible when packaging my prints so I do not include packing slips unless otherwise requested.

I use 100% post-consumer recycled material wherever possible. In an effort to cut back on excessive packing materials, I use recycled plastic sleeves inside of very rigid mailers to offer protection and support to my prints without the use of board backing on smaller prints .

I do not include packing slips or reciepts in orders by default to help reduce paper waste. If you need a reciept and packing slip then let me know in the notes section & I will include it.

Lighter packaging helps lessen the burden on our environment & on my customers; Lighter packaging means cheaper shipping!
