Misti's sustainable shop ethos of repurposing/recycling existing materials into yarn is perfectly aligned with my sustainable lifestyle goals. I had 2 sweaters that I sent to Misti to unravel into yarn to knit with. The first sweater was a thrifted 100% cashmere knit and the second was a beautiful sweater I had hand-knit using indie-dyed 100% merino wool and mohair. The mohair I had used in the hand-knit sweater was itchy, so I wasn't getting any wear out of the sweater. I had wanted to frog the sweater myself for a while, but couldn't bring myself to do it since I had spent so many hours making it. Misti's sweater recycling service took the pain out of me having to frog these beautiful sweaters myself. Now I have the yarn ready and expertly caked up to make into new projects. Thank you Misti!
