This is perfection. Hand blown by Tom Philabaum in his studio in Tucson, Arizona.

I have seen him work and he is a master of the craft.

It is 6.5 inches tall and 7 inches wide at the top.

Tom Philabaum studied glassblowing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison under Harvey Littleton, the father of the American Studio Glass Art Movement. He graduated with a Masters in Glassblowing. He went on to earn his MFA degree at the University of Arizona and built his first glassblowing studio in 1975 in downtown Tucson, Arizona.

A quote “I began exploring the Reptilian pattern in 1978, as an intriguing process with varying outcomes. It became the most long-lived and recognizable body of work in my glass career. I never tired of this series as it took on a life of its own and was always evolving and changing.”
