Japanese kimono, pale yellow and very palest of pink (blush?) background fabric with printed fresh-coloured spring flowers. There is a bit of gold metallic gold embroidery on the lower left panel (see closeup). This is the komon style of kimono worn by married women, with shorter sleeves than those on the furisode style that is worn by young single women in Japan. The upper lining is plain tan fabric, the lower lining is white, and there is a band of spring yellow colour along the hem and sides of the lower lining. It is in excellent condition, and has been worn very gently (some wrinkles on the lining that indicate a tied obi). Measurement armpit to armpit is 25.5 inches, sleeve edge to sleeve edge 52 inches, length of sleeves is 27.5 inches, and the length from the nape of the neck to hem is 64 inches.
