A personalized satin ribbon that ties the two rings together during an engagement ceremony, printed with both names. 1.2 cm wide, 100 cm long, with velcro at each end so the rings stay secure.

At a Turkish söz or nişan, the rings are tied together and an elder cuts the ribbon in front of everyone. It's a thirty-second moment that every person in the room watches. This is the ribbon for it, with both names on it instead of a plain red one from the shop.

It also works for a ring warming ceremony — the rings stay fastened to the ribbon while they're passed around the guests, so nothing gets dropped, and the ribbon goes home with you afterwards.
