This stocking features vintage Laura Ashley fabric in a classic French toile design that dates back to the 1700s. The foldover cuff is antique French handwoven linen fabric.

~ The stocking is a traditional size, measuring 21 inches vertically from the top to the toe (not including the hanging loop), when it is displayed as shown in the photos. The toile fabric is on both sides in different designs.

~ The toile is vintage Laura Ashley fabric in a raspberry red on a cream (off white) background. The cuff fabric is a lovely natural off-white handwoven linen made in France in the early 1900s. The fitted full lining is premium quilting cotton in a tonal white with a snowflake design (shown in a different stocking in the last photo). The hanging loop is red satin ribbon.

~ The stocking holds its shape when displayed on account of multiple layers of two different interlinings in the body, cuff, and lining, which give the stocking structure and a professional designer finish. All seams double stitched or serged, so the stocking is durably constructed and can safely be stuffed with goodies at Christmas.
