Each mantle is handmade, to your needed size, texture/style preference & desired color, upon ordering.

OUR MANTLES ARE TRUE TO LISTED DIMENSIONS

We use only sustainably sourced Northern White Pine, that we process in house, from tree to finished product. This allows us to maintain, & stock, very high quality materials, with a very small carbon footprint.

Each mantle emulates the timeless elegance of a solid wood beam, while its hollow core design ensures a lightweight, easy-to-install mantle. We provide the mounting cleat, screws, & drywall anchors needed to hang your mantle on either a wood wall, or drywall covered wall.

*We DO NOT supply masonry hardware, if you are hanging your mantle on brick or stone.*

Each Mantle is stained to the color of your choice, and sealed with 4 coats of commercial grade furniture lacquer in a dull/matte sheen. This makes for a durable, easy to clean, natural looking finish

For Example, a popular choice that we often are asked to make is:
"Smooth Sanded with light Distressing"

SMOOTH SANDED:
This style choice is a more modern, sleek, minimalist look. This style choice has NO distressing or weathering. It features a smooth sanded surface, like a high end piece of furniture, with the corners & edges being slightly eased, for more of a square, clean, crisp & modern feel.

HATCHET HEWN:
This style choice emulates a timber that was hand chopped/hewn.

DISTRESSED:
This style features a slightly weathered texture along with hammer marks, chain marks, lag bolts etc... Our distressed look emulates a timber or wood plank that you might see in an old industrial facility, showcasing years of traffic, & use. This particular style is our personal favorite!

WEATHERED:
This style features deeply worn wood grain, with gouges & dings. Our weathered look emulates a timber that was out in the elements for many years, similar to a Railroad tie.

For your mantle color, we offer 26 different minwax, oil based stain colors to pick from.
