From grandmothers in the south to Native Americans in the west, pine resin is a traditional ointment used on wounds due to its anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. If you have an "Oops moment," discover the healing power of pine!
I gather the pine resin myself from trees in the Utah desert, mix it with the coconut oil and beeswax for an awesome healing balm. This reminds me of the turpentine my grandmother used on my wounds as a kid, only it doesn't sting.
As a mountain biker I tend to get a lot of 'oops' so I can say firsthand this is great for wound care.
