A loosely woven wool and silk veil used as a head cover in the wedding ceremony or some festivals amongst a certain tribe of the Berber people in the Moroccan Anti-Atlas region.
Use it as a throw, wall hanging or part of a private collection.

Have been cleaned.
•As with most vintage pieces this may have signs of repaired tears, tears, dirt markings or frayed edges. Please get in touch if you would like more informations.
🔹️ABOUT
This piece was made with a mixture of wool and silk yarn. The edges have been embellished with little poms poms and weft floats, forming geometric patterns. However one part of it is on the right side and the other on the wrong side, probably because of the way it was worn.
The edges have also been stained in henna in berber motifs probably symbols of protection.
