Vintage Silk Sari border combo 15 colors
These beautiful borders are cut from Vintage, used recycled sari's that are sometimes more than 30-50 years old.The sets are pre-packed. You will receive a good mix of different colors of borders. The pictures are an example of what you can expect, they may include some of the borders that you will receive or very similar. The width is approximately 1-2 inches.
The Borders are overlocked and this listing is for a combined length of 15 yards, approximately one yard per color.
Most are pure silk, some are silk mixed with other natural fabrics.
It can be used for decorating, gift packaging, felting, quilting, mixed media, artwork.
It is difficult to catch the beauty and richness of the colors on the pictures. We try to picture the colors as closely as possible,
however some slight differences can occur due to monitor settings and website uploading issues.
It is important to remember that our silk borders are cut from recycled vintage silk and have unique colour variations and irregular weaves that is characteristic of natural fibres and used fabric. It can have spots, blemishes or other signs of wear.
Those irregularities cannot be deemed as faulty bur rather seen as adding character.
