Appearance – Pale yellow to brown coloured, slightly viscous liquid
Scent - Powdery, green and woody and reminiscent of violet flowers
Note – Base Notes (Excellent Fixative)

Growing Conditions - Grown on unpolluted sustainable land.

Orris Essential Oil is extracted from the roots ( rhizomes) of the Iris pallida which is cultivated in Morocco. The mature rhizomes of the plant produce Irones which gives the beautiful and distinctive powdery notes of Orris. The higher the concentration of irones the stronger the powdery note will be.

This came with about 1/4 of the bottle filled for the sample size... I was assuming the amount of the liquid would be the size of the bottle. But that could just be my fault for not realizing how much was included in the sample size. Oh well. Smells really good in any case.
