These knitted merino wool trousers are perfect as a second layer since they are thicker than our base-layer trousers. However, they are not as thick as classic woollen trousers for kids which can be very restricting. Merino wool maintains an optimal body temperature. It is also breathable and moisture-wicking. This means that your child would be able to play freely and actively, not worrying about the temperature or restricting clothes or getting too sweaty.
