My striped blankets are lighter weight and a few inches larger than my solid color blankets. The blanket measures approximately 42" x 42" and can be machine washed and dried. They are knit with a single strand of yarn on size 10 needles. They are baby blankets, but they are large enough to still be used when the baby is a toddler! The acrylic yarn is durable and will stand up to many washings.

Hand knit from Caron's Simply Soft yarn, this diagonally striped blanket would be great to drape over baby while in the stroller or crib. The yarn color names are "Lavender Blue" and "Off White." The off white color softens the purple and they are really lovely together!

Because these blankets are so soft and cuddly, I have many repeat customers. People often send me pictures of their new babies wrapped in my blankets. I love seeing them in use because I lovingly create each one. After trying many yarns, I now only use an acrylic yarn by Caron because it makes blankets that are easy to wash and dry. They stand up well to frequent laundering. I hear from customers that babies love them well into their toddler years, though the blankets may suffer wear and tear from being dragged around the house by little hands!
