The shield is smaller than you would expect. I would almost call it a buckler, but it's slightly bigger than a buckler. It's very light, foamy, and therefore, LARP safe. It's good for bashing, use as a projectile, and parrying attacks. I really like this shield, and I recommend it if you intend to use it in such a manner. It is very durable and will last. Otherwise, you might want a larger shield that will protect most of your body.
