This is a lovely antique black leather covered sewing box. It measures approximately 19 x 9 x 5 cm. It has a good gilt metal clasp and the lid opens to reveal a lovely brown leather interior. The case contains a good selection of sewing tools, antique needles in their packets and cotton reels. There's also a pair of scissors, although these look more modern than the rest of the tools, so are not original to the box. The case is in fantastic condition as you can see in the photos. It comes with its original box and looks like it's been kept in there for most of its life judging by the condition. A fantastic antique sewing collectable.

I'm now using eco-friendly packaging for all orders including biodegradable brown craft paper tape, biodegradable bubble wrap and void fill packing chips and, where possible, reused boxes. The only thing I've not yet been able to find is eco-friendly clear tape used for attaching shipping labels, so if you're aware of any such thing please let me know where I can find it. I'd love to be able to offer 100% eco-friendly packaging!
