Description:

Experience the timeless charm of Mid Century Vintage German WGP (West German Pottery) with this exquisite set of six Inge Böttger Wandsbek-Hamburg Studio Keramik BKW art pottery bowls/shallow dishes. These dishes/bowls showcase the remarkable craftsmanship and artistic ingenuity that defined the era, combining minimalist elegance with a touch of avant-garde flair.

Each piece is a testament to the skillful hands of Inge Böttger, a renowned ceramic artist based in Wandsbek-Hamburg during the mid-20th century. The dishes/bowls feature a captivating juxtaposition of elements, starting with a pristine white glaze that coats the surfaces, creating a sense of purity and sophistication. This glaze beautifully contrasts with the dark, earthy clay base, lending depth and character to the pieces.

What truly sets these bowls apart is the hand-drawn geometric pattern adorning their surfaces. Inge Böttger's masterful artistry is evident in the intricate lines and shapes that intertwine to form a mesmerizing visual dance. The geometric motifs, reminiscent of the period's fascination with abstract and modernist designs, infuse the dishes/bowls with an aura of intellectual creativity.

As you hold these shallow dishes/bowls, you can almost feel the history and artistic passion that went into their creation. They encapsulate the spirit of a bygone era, capturing the essence of Mid Century design while remaining relevant and captivating even in contemporary settings. Whether displayed as art pieces or used to serve culinary delights, these Inge Böttger Wandsbek-Hamburg Studio Keramik BKW art pottery bowls stand as a testament to the fusion of form and function, art and utility.
