This gorgeous little ring was made using a pink harlequin opal dating from the 1940s. Harlequin opals are glass that were handmade by skilled artists in Japan and West Germany during the 1940s and therefore each opal will look a little different than the one pictured. It sits inside a scalloped setting that is soldered onto the ring. The ring is silver in color but is rhodium plated.

This is for my second identical ring...that's how much Iike(d) it! Again I wish the opal were a bit bigger but it is satisfactorily colorful. Very pleased with this vendor. Correction...not identical but the stones are so close.... And I liked enough to buy the second.
