Vintage from the 1900s

This large pedestal bowl has a lip, or ledge as if it might have had a cover-but I'm not sure.
Found AS IS.
Early American glass.
There are imperfections, a couple of small air bubbles.
There are scratches.
Some scratches look as if a spoon was dragged around the inside.
Looking down in the bowl, there is black gritty stuff that seems to be embedded in the glass
where the pedestal is attached- a flaw from the factory. (see picture)
There is a chip on the base.
There is a rough chip-like spot on the rim.
There are 2 cracks (or factory flaws) -one in the very bottom of the bowl where the pedestal is attached, another
on the pedestal near the bowl.
In other words, it is old-not perfect.
9 1/2 inches tall.
9 1/4 inches from the outside of the rim to the outside of the rim.
A lid might need to be 8 3/4 inches to sit on the ledge.
