Yes. As this is fully and entirely a handmade product, please note that some minor flaws and imperfections can occur. We do our absolute best to create a flawless product but we work only with our hands and not with the help of any machinery. Please take this into consideration when purchasing our handmade moulds and please consider this disclaimer if you find our moulds aren’t 100% perfect.

No. The Glitzy Glitter moulds are not food safe.

The GGS moulds are made of silicone that is only compatible with epoxy resin. I use Just Resin 3:1 , JR Diamond Cote, as well as Clearpox Resin. I also use resins by Health of Mind Art.

Because I have found that a very small percentage of resin earring crafters cast with UV resin, I will use opaque silicone in my moulds. However please leave a NOTE at the Etsy checkout if you require translucent silicone compatible with UV resin. Your mould will otherwise come opaque and non compatible with UVResin.

No. The mould cannot withstand heat. Please avoid placing in the oven and take extreme caution if you must bring a heat gun or heat source to your resin inside this mould.

No. Although the master blank shapes will be identical to the listing, the actual mould may be of a different colour due to owning and using a range of different brands of silicone. Your mould could be purple or pink or translucent or another colour. Depending on what walls I have available, your mould could be square or rectangular.

If you require a translucent Mould for UV Resin, please leave a message and I will ensure it is clear and not coloured.

I aim to make the handmade mould within 3-5days.

If glitter gets stuck, wash the mould with soapy warm water, using your pads of your fingers to clean. Store the mould flat. Glitter and dyes will affect the surface of the mould and this affect its longevity. To avoid losing the dangle hole when demoulding, use a toothpick to push the silicone inwards so it doesn’t pull out when demoulding. Aim to avoid overfilling the mould cavity with resin.

Unfortunately I don’t take requests to customise a mould. I will not substitute out shapes and replace them with other shapes. I aim to make my Etsy listings as streamlined as possible so that when it comes to fulfilling orders, it is in a timely organised manner.
