This crocheted Tic-Tac-Toe cauldron makes the Halloween decor even more playful. When not serving as part of a game, the grid and bottled potions (game pieces) are stored in the crocheted cauldron, and the set looks like the witch's bubbling pot of potions brewing away.

When not in use for cooking up potions, the cauldron can also serve as a container to collect wrapped candies, keys, or other small items.

This crochet pattern PDF includes steps to make a cauldron (no sew), a “soupy” grid (grid lines embroidered), and 10 bottled potions as the game pieces. A special stitch (photo and video tutorials included) is used in the project to give the cauldron more texture and make it slightly thicker on the side.
