How do I pick the right collar size?

Every order is cut and made after placed. Because of the size of the metal clasps used to seal the ropes, I do not suggest my collars for pups with necks smaller than ~12-13in. If you do have a smaller pup please contact me and we can chat through it! For sizing. I typically add 1.5in to each collar to allow room to slip over the head/ears. For example, if your pup has a 16in neck, I will make the collar 17.5in to allow that buffer room. If you need more/less please let me know :)

What length leash should I buy?

It's mostly on personal preference. A longer leash allows more freedom for your pup to roam and explore. The 4ft is my personal preference that I use with my pups, but 6ft is typically the standard length sold in mass retail. The total length does include the handle!

What the heck is that metal ring for on the handle?

One of the most common question I receive :) It's a complementary feature that allows for you to clip a poop bag holder, your keys, the end of the leash (if you take it off your pup to carry). If you'd prefer not to have it, just note at checkout and I won't add one.

What is your processing time?

Unless I am traveling (not often!), I try and make all orders within 24hrs of being received. For domestic orders, I typically ship via USPS First Class mail which is 3-5 business days. If you'd prefer to upgrade you can also request Priority or Express delivery.

Can I request a custom design?

Of course!! Since everything is cut and made after ordered I oftentimes work with customers to design the prefect product for their needs. Just message me :)

Are your ropes new or used?

I track down my ropes from all over the place. I look for used ('recycled') as well as new ('upcycled) ropes and try to find a diverse set of colors and patterns to make sure I meet a broad set of interests! With that said, my shop has a good mix of both recycled and upcycled options. All of my recycled ropes have been cleaned and are extremely durable for their new uses!

Do you have thinner ropes for smaller pups?

I do! The average diameter of ropes in my shop is ~9.5-10mm. I have many thin diameter options as well, which are ~8mm in diameter and use a slightly smaller metal clasp to seal the ropes. If diameter of the rope and size of the metal clasps is a consideration for you please contact me and I will point you in the right direction.

Looking for different colors/patterns? Check out my other listings for Blues, Greens, Reds/Oranges/Yellows, and Blacks/Grays available as well! :)

Everything is upcycled from brand name professional climbing rope (the same gear that climbers trust with their lives)

Customizations:

STYLE: Slip-on (single or double rope design), Martingale (single or double rope design), Lobster clasp (single or double rope design), Tightening (please refer to listing photos for examples)

SIZE: Note that I do not recommend my collars for smaller necks. If your pup has a smaller neck than 14in just message me and we can chat through options! Please note your pup's actual neck size at checkout. My default sizing is to add 1.5in to the actual neck size to allow buffer room to slip over your pup's head/ears. If you need more or less space please let me know!

CLASP COVERS: They're a free customization! All collars are sealed with the same metal clasps, though a thin rubber cover can be added (See Summary Photo).

REMINDER: Everything is cut and made after ordered, so if you have a customization or would like to discuss a fun concept/design, just message me :) And I have fun matching leashes and accessories in my shop!

Love the collar-- it's just what I wanted for a simple collar for my dog to wear while at home and while in the yard so she can have some ID on without a bulky walking harness. Great customer service, and I love the color selection.

Cute, durable house collar! It was a little redder than anticipated - it can be hard to tell the exact colors based on the small photos. Still looks great on her though!
