Printable Gingerbread Village Advent Calendar: DIY Christmas Town (PDF)

The set includes 25 unique buildings along with four ginger people, two ginger pets, and six evergreen trees. Put them together to create a happy and festive paper Christmas village!

Add the optional numbers 1-25 to your buildings, and fill them with special treats and trinkets in order to make your very own custom advent calendar for a loved one, young or old! (At the request of many customers, numbers are separate from the building designs, to increase flexibility of the set.)

As for required materials, all you need is a pair of scissors, a glue stick, and your creativity & imagination to fill them up. Tools to pre-score the fold lines (ruler & bone folder) are optional, but recommended. If you choose to print them at home rather than use a print shop, you will also need 25 sheets of white card stock paper and a color printer.

Professional printing is recommended! It will produce the best result. Take the PDF file to a printer on a portable USB, or upload to an online print service.

• To hand cut and assemble this village will take some time—plan for approximately 4 to 5 hours in order to do a good job. Remember that the time spent will be well worth it for the festive cheer this hand-assembled gingerbread village will add to your holidays!

• Please see the listing images for the dimensions of the completed houses. Once completed, boxes are filled from the bottom, which is designed to open and close as needed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION: Sorry, I do not offer these boxes in a bigger size. They are more or less already the maximum size that can print on a single sheet of standard size paper / card stock (US letter and A4). To print larger would require a large format commercial printer, and larger than standard card stock paper. Or, it would require each box to be re-designed to fit on multiple sheets of paper and be constructed from multiple pieces.
